2021 Mystery Shops Kick Off June 1
The 2021 round of Cenex® mystery shops are scheduled to begin on June 1, providing the opportunity to discover what customers experience when they visit your store. These insights are designed to assist your store in remaining attractive in an increasingly competitive industry. Trained mystery shoppers will review and score Cenex brand image requirements, important exterior and interior elements, and key customer service essentials. The shoppers will also take photos of and around your site.
To assist our Cenex operators in meeting the demands of convenience retail customer expectations, our evaluation includes scored elements in the areas of safety, cleanliness, customer service, and brand image requirements.

Mystery Shop Evaluation(s): Eight specific areas of evaluations that will result in a final sore of passing or failing. A site must receive a 90% or higher to receive a passing score. Front-Line Employee Training: Learn what to expect when your store is visited by a mystery shopper. The Cenex Mystery Shop training course on cenexrefinedthinking.com is designed to make the mystery shopper’s visit a positive experience by educating associates on the program and its purpose.
