Last Call for Cenex® Hometown Throwdown Entries!

The Cenex® Hometown Throwdown is a giveback competition, driven by consumers and end users, that highlights one of the unique events that every community has a connection to – its local festival. The competition continues the Cenex tradition of giving back to the communities we call home by awarding $150K to support local festivals.

Consumers have until the end of the day on Friday, February 7, to nominate their local festival for a chance to win the $100K grand prize by visiting CenexHometownThrowdown.com.

Please note that all Hometown Throwdown Phase 1 marketing materials must be removed by the end of business on Friday, February 7. This includes pump toppers, counter signs and shelf talkers.

What’s Next?

On May 1, five finalists will be announced, and consumers can vote for the best fest through May 31. The $100K grand prize winner will be announced on June 17 (second place will receive $20K, third place will receive $15K, fourth place will receive $10K and fifth place will receive $5K).

During the month of May, please display all Hometown Throwdown Phase 2 marketing materials to encourage consumers to go out and vote! These materials arrived mid-December with phase 1 marketing materials.
