Hometown Pride Winners for Fiscal Q2 Announced

This Powered Locally™ dealer initiative is one of the many ways that the Cenex brand demonstrates its deep-rooted history of giving back to its communities. Since the initiative launched in 2019, 30 hometowns have received grant money to celebrate their unique traditions and help improve their communities.

And now, five more hometowns have been selected to each receive this $5,000 grant. Winners are chosen from submissions by local Cenex stores and cooperatives. The 2020 Q2 winners are as follows:

  • New Recreational Ball Fields in St. George, KS submitted by Dara’s Fast Lane in St. George.
  • The Iola Car Show in Iola, WI submitted by CHS Larsen in New London, WI.
  • Holiday Festival of Lights in Yankton, SD submitted by Farmer’s Pride in Battle Creek, NE.
  • Menominee County Fair in Menominee, MI submitted by Stephenson Marketing Cooperative in Powers, MI.
  • Metal for Moms in Monroeville, OH submitted by Sunrise Cooperative in Fremont, OH.
