2025 Brand Standard Audit Coming to a Close

The Brand Standard Audit portion of the Cenex® Retail Excellence Daily (RED) Site Assessment Program will conclude on August 31, 2025. To pass the audit, a score of at least 90% is required, and the Lighting Audit must be successfully passed. Points can be earned back through the cure process until September 30.Â
To aid in tracking cures, a recent enhancement was made to scorecards to show the status of any available cures. One of four cure statuses will be displayed next to cure eligible questions (example below):
- Available – The question has a curable infraction, but a cure has not yet been submitted.
- Pending – A cure has been submitted, which is currently in review.
- Accepted – A cure has been submitted, accepted, and points restored.
- Declined – A cure has been submitted but declined. No points have been awarded.

As a reminder, a Remediation Form is required any time Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s materials are present, resulting in a brand image failure. The required form is linked within the scorecard, at the top of the Submit Cures page, and also on Cenex Hub. Only one form is required per location and should be uploaded as an attachment when submitting the cure.
Since points can be earned back for all questions with the exception of customer service, it is our goal to return as many points as possible through the cure process linked above. Scores that remain below 90% after September 30 will result in enforcement of contractual rights to ensure compliance with Cenex Retail Image Standards. Enforcement may include, but is not limited to:Â
- $250.00 fee for first score below 90%Â
- $500.00 fee for two or more consecutive scores below 90%Â
- Termination of the Branded Petroleum Marketers Agreement (BPMA)Â
