2024 Brand Standard Audit – Notable Updates

The Brand Standard Audit portion of the Retail Excellence Daily (RED) Site Assessment Program begins June 1. The RED Site Assessment Program is essential to help uphold brand integrity and elevate the customer experience, which leads to increased loyalty and incremental sales. Keeping these goals front and center, the following changes were made at the beginning of this year:

  • To ensure we administer the highest quality program possible, Ipsos is now the vendor partner executing the RED Site Assessment Program on our behalf. Ipsos is a global leader in mystery shopping, market research and analytics, with a wealth of experience in the petroleum industry.
  • The RED Site Assessment Program will now be comprised of two annual audits, one evaluating lighting and the other evaluating brand standards. The Lighting Audit occurred this past December – February, and as noted above the Brand Standard Audit will begin on June 1.
  • The scores for the Lighting Audit and Brand Standard Audit will be connected. The Brand Standard Audit cannot be passed until all Lighting Audit failures are corrected.

If you did not pass your Lighting Audit, now is a great time to begin submitting cures to increase your score. Cures for both the Brand Standard Audit and Lighting Audit can be submitted until September 30, 2024.
