RED Inspections begin June 1! There is still time to spruce up your store in preparation for mystery shoppers to arrive. By now, you should have received a mailer providing information regarding the 2022 round. Be sure to visit cenexhub.com to view resources to ensure a smooth RED Inspection!

This round, there will be two notable changes to the evaluation. In 2020, three non-scored questions were changed to accommodate the evolving situation with the COVID-19 pandemic. Those adjustments made in 2020 have been amended for 2022 RED Inspections:

1. As food service areas and restaurants have re-opened, question 12 and all related answer sets will be re-instated:
   • Question 12 (0 Points): Were the merchandise displays, coolers, coffee bar, fountain drink, and fresh food/deli and roller grill areas (if applicable) clean, functioning, and well stocked?
2. As plexiglass and other barriers around the cash register are here to stay, gift cards and credit cards now do not need to be within reach of a consumer. The following answer set will be permanently removed from two questions:
   • Question 16 (0 Points): Were current Cenex gift cards properly displayed in the transaction area?
     • Not displayed within a consumer’s reach
   • Question 17 (0 Points): Were current Cenex credit card applications, including current Cabela’s/Bass Pro Shops Club applications, properly displayed in the transaction area?
     • Not displayed within a consumer’s reach
