Cenex® Presents Roseau Fall Harvest Festival $25,000 Hometown Throwdown Prize
This past weekend, Cenex proudly awarded Roseau Fall Harvest Festival the $25,000 Hometown Throwdown prize! Shaun Stottler, refined fuels district manager at CHS; Kelly Christianson, general manager at Northern Resources Cooperative; and Rafal Rusek, supply network & retail operations manager at Northern Resources Cooperative, presented the $25,000 prize to Sinnamon Krings of the Roseau Convention & Visitors Bureau during the festival.
The Roseau Fall Harvest Festival is a must-attend celebration for locals of all ages. Whether it’s a hayride, pie eating contest, 5K, scavenger hunt, or the famous Pucks and Pints OktoBEERfest, there is an activity for everyone. The volunteer-run celebration also features live music and highlights local artists and street vendors. With its intentional blend of tradition, community involvement, and fun activities, it is no surprise that Roseau’s Fall Harvest Festival was a Hometown Throwdown top 3 finalist.
The $25,000 prize recognizes the festival’s significant impact on the local community and its outstanding achievement as a Hometown Throwdown finalist. This contribution will help the Roseau Fall Harvest Festival continue to thrive, ensuring that it remains a cornerstone event for the Roseau community for years to come.
The Cenex brand celebrated with the other two festival finalist communities, Hayward Musky Festival and Norborne Soybean Festival, this past summer.
