2025 Brand Standard Audit – Notable Updates
The Brand Standard Audit portion of the Retail Excellence Daily (RED) Site Assessment Program begins June 1. The RED Site Assessment Program is essential to help uphold brand integrity and elevate the customer experience, which leads to increased loyalty and incremental sales. Keeping these goals front and center, the following changes were made to the Brand Standard Audit evaluation:
New Brand Standard Questions (25 points)
- Were current Cenex® gift cards displayed in the transaction area?
- If no, will lose 25 points and fail. Please note, this was extra credit last round.
- Were any Cenex branded credit card applications or brochures displayed in the transaction area?
- If yes, will lose 25 points and fail.
- What type of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s branded materials did you see?
- If any materials are present, will lose 25 points and fail.
- Are all area bollards (if present) around main ID sign, buildings, tanks and other structures painted safety red or have professional protective pole covers?
- If no, will lose 25 points and fail.
New Questions (2 points)
- Were any Hometown Throwdown promotional materials visible within the convenience store?
- If any materials are present, will lose 2 points.
- Are any of these Hometown Throwdown pump toppers displayed on any of the fuel dispensers?
- If any pump toppers are present, will lose 2 points.
- Are all area bollards or protector poles (if present) around main ID sign, buildings, tanks and other structures in good condition?
- If no, will lose 2 points.
If you did not pass your Lighting Audit, now is a great time to begin submitting cures to increase your score. Cures for both the Brand Standard Audit and Lighting Audit can be submitted until September 30, 2025.
