2025 Brand Standard Audit Has Begun!
The Brand Standard Audit portion of the Cenex® Retail Excellence Daily (RED) Site Assessment Program has begun. Between June 1 and August 31, Mystery Shoppers will evaluate the interior and exterior of your store to help you gain valuable insight into your customers’ experience.
The passing threshold will remain at 90% and will continue to be connected to the Lighting Audit. The Lighting Audit must be passed in order to pass the Brand Standard Audit. The cure submission deadline for both audits is September 30.
As a reminder, below are evaluation updates that you should be aware of:
New Brand Standard Questions (25 points)
- Were current Cenex® gift cards displayed in the transaction area?
- If no, will lose 25 points and fail. Please note, this was extra credit last round.
- Were any Cenex branded credit card applications or brochures displayed in the transaction area? This includes Cenex Voyager Fleet Card applications and Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s CLUB Mastercard brochures.
- If yes, will lose 25 points and fail.
- What type of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s branded materials did you see?
- If any materials are present, will lose 25 points and fail.
- Are all area bollards (if present) around main ID sign, buildings, tanks and other structures painted safety red or have professional protective pole covers?
- If no, will lose 25 points and fail.
New Questions (2 points)
- Were any Hometown Throwdown promotional materials visible within the convenience store?
- If any materials are present, will lose 2 points.
- Are any of these Hometown Throwdown pump toppers displayed on any of the fuel dispensers?
- If any pump toppers are present, will lose 2 points.
- Are all area bollards or protector poles (if present) around main ID sign, buildings, tanks and other structures in good condition?
- If no, will lose 2 points.
Mystery Shop Portal access and shop results will soon be available. If you have not had prior access to the portal, you will receive an email with your login credentials. If you have had prior access to the portal, you will use your previous credentials.
