As discussed in a previous issue of In The Know, the next version of Gilbarco Passport, v11.04, is scheduled to be released in late 2018. CHS is actively working with Gilbarco on the testing of this version of software and are anticipating it to be released in October. This release has several enhancements including outdoor EMV for compatible Gilbarco dispensers. Due to technology advancements and limitations of the PX52 hardware, this system will no longer be supported by Gilbarco and will not compatible with the v11.04 software.

As in the past, there will be a requirement to install v11.04, six months after its release. After that time, a $250 Software Out of Date fee will be assessed for sites that are still running on the PX52 hardware with an older version of Passport.
